Strategies of Subtraction
Strategies of Subtractions records the relentless nature of domestic involvement and tactics for disengagement. Through a loop which mirrors the repetitive tasks of a home, Beatrice shares subtraction strategies produced by her and her female lineage. Underneath is the insistence of the artist’s mental to-do lists in the week prior to the completion of the work.

Pezzetti
Pezzetti is a multilingual solo performance navigating alphabets and sequences that veer towards disequilibriums. A game with time in which perhaps jams and children get lost.

Pezzetti 2
Pezzetti 2 investigates nostalgia and foreignness using off-kilter images, games, and ellipses. Loss and emigration are filtered through the blurring confines of one's childhood and the distorted embodiment of US idioms. It is a non-linear, playful journey which connects us to things lost, sometimes found again.
Co-devised and performed by Beatrice Basso and Valentina Emeri, directed by Beatrice.
Developed at Z Space; produced at Diasporas Festival and Cutting Ball Theater.
